Outreach Programs

WE ARE ACTIVE WITH MANY OUTREACH PROGRAMS IN OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY. HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS WE DO:

Prison fellowship - Visiting the inmates in a small local prison providing various toiletry items they need. We also support with providing much needed drug prescriptions for sick inmates and special days with serving the inmates a homemade meal.

Senior fellowship - The youth ministry visits local elderly in the community singing for them, praying with them, providing a haircut if needed , toiletry items and special gift of candy.

Community cleanup - The youth actively sweep and clean up trash in their town square 2 times a month.

Garden program - Working with the youth to continually plant different things on our ministry land. Watermelon, beans, yams, potatoes are some examples.

Goat/Chicken program - We provide goats or chickens for families in need. We generally do female goats so they can have babies and we can get more goats for other families in need. Buying a goat for a family is $80.00 and chickens are $20.00 each.

Rice program – Providing families in need with bags of rice. The price of rice has tripled in Haiti over the past years prohibiting some from being able to afford even a bag of rice. Buying a bag of rice for a family is $50.00.

Mobile Medical Clinics – Providing medical services to those that do not have the means to pay for medical services.

English Language Program – Our youth leader has been teaching an English program at the local school for many years now.
